Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September. 21 1982) is a well-known American actor. Most notably, she played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. She was born in Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of high school after her parents split up to move to Los Angeles to live with her mother. Though she struggled financially in 2001, her debut came in the role of Rachel's Room's primary character. Her portrayal of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. film Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played the lead actress in Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award with all of the ensemble. Grace was keen to pursue film following her role as Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005.
