Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in TV and film is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her career in showbiz as a child. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas as early as 16 years old. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was critically as well as highly rated commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominated films that feature female stars. Alexandra's work has led her to be involved in a variety of important national and international projects. These projects include British biographical films, the British Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. The actress also served on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
